The B2B Growth Hub runs a calendar of in-person and online events ยท exhibitions, award nights, SAGA Bootcamp, business clinics, expert sessions, matchmaking, networking meet-ups. This guide tells you how to find them, attend them, book a stand if you're a supplier, and use the planning surfaces to get the most out of an event day.

The event surfaces ยท what's where

Attending an exhibition ยท the basics

  1. Open /exhibitions ยท the calendar lists upcoming events with dates, locations and capacity.
  2. Click an event to see the detail page ยท agenda, featured suppliers, registration link.
  3. Register ยท the form is short. If you're a signed-in user, most fields pre-fill from your profile.
  4. You'll get a confirmation email with the event-day briefing pack 5 days before.

Pre-booking supplier or buyer meetings

The matchmaking feature opens 7-10 days before each event. As a buyer:

  1. Open the event's matchmaking page.
  2. Filter by category, deal size and ICP ยท only suppliers actually attending the event are listed.
  3. Book 5-10 meeting slots ยท 20 minutes each. The supplier confirms or counter-proposes within 48 hours.

As a supplier, the equivalent screen lets you see which buyers have requested meetings and accept the right ones. Treat your event day as a sequence of structured discovery calls.

Booking a stand (suppliers)

Stand booking is for suppliers on the Visibility tier and above:

  1. Open /exhibit ยท the stand booking form.
  2. Pick the event ยท the form shows the floor plan with available stand positions.
  3. Specify your stand requirements ยท power, lighting, display dimensions, A/V needs.
  4. Submit ยท ops confirms availability and pricing within 2 business days.

Once your stand is confirmed, the stand number appears on your supplier profile so buyers can find you on the day.

Applying to speak (Authority tier)

Speaker slots are part of the Authority Engine tier ยท 30-minute slots on a vetted topic in front of the full buyer audience. To apply:

  1. Confirm you're on the Authority tier ยท the speaker field on your supplier profile is enabled.
  2. Email your account team at least 6 weeks before the event with topic, audience, and a one-paragraph abstract.
  3. Topic vetting takes ~1 week. Approved topics get a slot in the agenda ยท denied topics get a why and an invitation to resubmit.

Planning your event day

The "My Visit" surface at /my-visit is your event-day planner:

  • Plan (/my-visit/plan) ยท your booked meetings, sessions, stand visits in time-order. Print or save to your phone.
  • Notifications (/my-visit/notifications) ยท what's coming up next during the event day. Subscribe to email or SMS pings.
  • Profile ยท what other attendees see when they look you up ยท keep it current before each event.

My Events ยท what you've registered for

See every event you're registered for at /my-events. Cancel or transfer your ticket from here ยท transfer is free up to 7 days before the event.

Your full calendar (events + meetings + workshops) syncs to /my-calendar. Subscribe via iCal to keep it in your work calendar.

Etiquette ยท what good event behaviour looks like

  • Buyers ยท show up to your booked meetings on time. If you have to cancel, do it the day before ยท last-minute no-shows tank a supplier's day. The platform tracks this ยท serial no-shows lose matchmaking access.
  • Suppliers ยท don't switch-pitch. If a buyer's brief is for X, don't pivot to Y mid-meeting. The supplier you meet at the event should match the supplier on your profile.
  • Speakers ยท no product pitches in talk sessions. Educational content only. Pitching from stage gets flagged ยท second offence loses speaker rights.

Troubleshooting

  • Registered but didn't get the briefing pack ยท check spam. Briefing packs land 5 days before ยท if you're inside that window and have nothing, contact ops.
  • Matchmaking shows no suppliers ยท the matchmaking window opens 7-10 days before the event. Earlier than that, the page is intentionally empty.
  • Stand request not confirmed ยท 2 business days is the SLA. If you're past that, email ops with the event name and your supplier slug.
  • Can't transfer a ticket ยท transfers are free up to 7 days out ยท inside that window, transfers are case-by-case via ops.

One exhibition a year is the minimum viable cadence for compounding ecosystem value. Two or three is the sweet spot.
