When a B2B Growth Hub rep sends you a proposal or contract, it arrives as a shareable link ยท no platform login required. This guide explains what to expect on the other side of the click, how to review and respond, and what happens after you sign.
The shareable link ยท what it is, what it isn't
Both proposals and contracts use the same pattern ยท a public URL containing a unique token. The token is the access secret ยท anyone holding the URL can view the document. Three things to know:
- No login needed ยท click the link ยท the document renders immediately.
- Permanent ยท the URL is the same forever. Safe to bookmark.
- Trackable ยท the rep on our side can see when you first opened it, how many times, and whether you've signed.
Opening a proposal
A proposal URL looks like https://www.b2bgrowthhub.com/proposals/<token>. When you open it you see:
- Header ยท your company name, the engine + tier being proposed, the total investment, the rep's name.
- Solution summary ยท what we're proposing to do, why, and the outcome we expect.
- Deliverable list ยท Schedule 4 codes you'll get at this tier ยท the contractual scope.
- Pricing breakdown ยท membership fee, registration fee, VAT.
- Action buttons at the bottom ยท Accept, Request changes, or just close the tab.
Accepting a proposal
- Click "Accept proposal" at the bottom of the page.
- Fill in your name, title, and the company you're accepting on behalf of.
- Type "I accept" in the confirmation field ยท this captures intent in an audit-safe way.
- Submit. The page flips to a "Proposal accepted ยท we'll send the contract shortly" state.
Once accepted, the rep is notified and the contract is generated automatically ยท usually arrives within 1 business day.
Requesting changes
If something needs to change before you can accept:
- Click "Request changes" at the bottom.
- Specify what needs to change ยท price, scope, timeline, or specific deliverables.
- Submit. The rep on our side is notified and will respond with a revised proposal at a new URL ยท the old URL stays viewable for reference.
You can request changes as many times as you need. Each round generates a fresh proposal URL ยท the rep tracks the history.
Opening a contract
A contract URL looks like https://www.b2bgrowthhub.com/contract/<token>. On open you see:
- Header ยท the contract title, status badge (Draft / Sent / Viewed / Signed by supplier / Counter-signed / Expired / Cancelled), creation date, your view count.
- Rendered legal copy ยท the full Supplier Registration Agreement with your details pre-populated. Scroll the whole thing ยท the page tracks how far you read.
- Signature block at the bottom ยท this is where you sign.
Signing a contract
Online signing is canvas-based ยท works on phones, tablets and desktops:
- Scroll to the signature block.
- Type your name and title (e.g. "Managing Director").
- Draw your signature on the canvas ยท use a finger on mobile / tablet, or the mouse on desktop. Hit "Clear" to redo if needed.
- Click "Sign contract". The page captures ยท in addition to the signature itself ยท the timestamp, your IP and your browser identifier. This is the audit trail.
- The status flips to Signed by supplier.
After you sign ยท what happens next
- The B2B Growth Hub operator counter-signs within 1 business day. Status flips to Fully executed.
- Both parties receive an email confirmation with the permanent contract URL.
- Onboarding begins ยท ops reaches out to start the profile-building sessions covered in the supplier journey guide.
Lifetime access ยท the URL never changes
Bookmark your contract URL. It stays at the same address forever ยท counter-signed PDF copies are available from the same page. You'll never have to chase a copy.
If you ever want a PDF export ยท the browser's "Print โ Save as PDF" produces an accurate copy. We don't currently auto-generate PDFs server-side, but the rendered page is print-styled to look right on paper.
Disputes and amendments
- Wrong details on the contract ยท don't sign. Email your rep with the corrections ยท they'll cancel this contract and generate a new one.
- Disagreement with a clause ยท don't sign. Email your rep with the clause number and the proposed amendment.
- Post-signature change ยท amendments to an executed contract are handled as a new addendum, signed the same way ยท not by editing the original.
- Disputes ยท legal first, then ops. The contract page is the source of truth ยท don't accept verbal amendments outside it.
Troubleshooting
- "This contract has been cancelled" ยท the rep cancelled it (usually to issue a corrected version). Look for a new email with a new link, or email the rep.
- "This contract has expired" ยท proposals and contracts have a validity window (typically 14 or 30 days). Email the rep for a fresh one.
- Signature canvas not responding on mobile ยท try landscape orientation, or switch to a different browser. The canvas works on all modern browsers but some embedded webviews (e.g. inside email clients) block touch events.
- Lost the link ยท ask the rep ยท they have it in their lead detail page.
The signature is legally binding. Read the contract before you sign ยท the page tracks your view count and the rep can see whether you scrolled past the first paragraph.
