Browse Suppliers ยท finding the right partner without a brief

~6 min readยทUpdated 13 May 2026ยทEveryone

The supplier directory at /suppliers is for ad-hoc discovery ยท researching the market before posting a brief, looking up a specific supplier, or bookmarking partners for a future engagement.

When to browse vs post a brief

  • Browse when you're researching, you have a specific supplier name in mind, or you want to bookmark for later.
  • Post a brief when you have a concrete project. Briefs surface non-obvious supplier fits through matching ยท browsing only shows you what you already know to search for.

Opening the directory

Two entry points ยท /suppliers direct, or from your account dashboard's "Browse suppliers" QuickLink.

The /suppliers directory page with filter sidebar and supplier card grid
The supplier directory ยท filter sidebar on the left ยท card grid on the right.

Filters ยท category, deal size, ICP

  • Category ยท the primary classification. Each supplier sits in one primary + up to 3 secondary.
  • Deal size band ยท narrows to suppliers whose typical engagement matches your budget.
  • ICP / stage filter ยท suppliers list their ideal client type (e.g. Series A SaaS, mid-market B2B services).

Reading a supplier profile

Each profile shows ยท headline + tagline, services, categories, problem tags, case studies, deal-size range, speaker bio. Two things to look for:

  • At least one relevant case study with a measurable outcome.
  • Tier badge (Pipeline / Revenue / Visibility / Authority) ยท gives you a calibration on the supplier's commercial maturity.

Saving suppliers privately

Click the bookmark icon on any supplier card ยท it lands in your private list at /supplier-dashboard. The supplier isn't notified ยท the list is yours.

Contacting a supplier outside a brief

Don't ยท we deliberately don't expose direct contact in the browse view. Two reasons ยท suppliers prefer responding to scoped briefs, and direct outreach skips the matching protection. If a supplier looks right, post a brief naming the engagement and they'll surface in your shortlist.

Limitations of browse vs match

The directory shows public profile fields only. Match-based responses include ยท the supplier's actual response to your specific brief, their proposed scope and pricing, and a fresh case study they pick to match your need. Browse never gets you those.

Browse to research, brief to buy. Different jobs, different surfaces.
