Every CTA on the platform ยท "Start My Diagnostic", "Book Strategy Call", "Talk to Sales", "Get a Quote" ยท routes through the same 5-stage modal. This guide explains why it has 5 stages instead of one short form, why each field matters, and how to use it without feeling overwhelmed.
Why 5 stages instead of one short form
Short forms produce thin information ยท "you, your email, here's a button". The other person ends up on a 30-minute discovery call asking the questions the form should have asked. The 5-stage modal trades 2 extra minutes of your time for 10x better calls on the other side. Three consequences:
- The rep is briefed before the call. They know your context ยท the call starts at minute 5 of substance, not minute 5 of "tell me about your business".
- The right rep gets routed. Your stage, ambition and challenge data lets us send you the rep best fit for the conversation ยท not whoever's free.
- Calls are shorter. A well-briefed 25-minute call beats a cold 45-minute one every time.
Where to find the modal
The modal opens from every CTA on the site. Specifically:
- Header "Book Strategy Call" button.
- Footer "Contact" link.
- Every page hero CTA ("Start My Diagnostic", "Apply Now", etc).
- The floating CTA in the bottom-right corner.
- Direct routes ยท /start-your-journey and /contact.
The CTA you click pre-fills the "Asking about" field on stage 2 ยท so the rep knows what you were looking at when you decided to talk.
Stage 1 ยท Contact Details
First name, last name, email, mobile.
- Use a business email ยท personal emails get triaged slower because we can't auto-link them to a company.
- Mobile is optional but speeds up the response ยท if your call is urgent, ticking the SMS box lets us text you a calendar link rather than waiting for email check.
Stage 2 ยท Business Info
Business name, your position, and "Asking about" ยท the last one is pre-filled from the CTA you clicked.
- Position ยท be specific. "Founder" vs "Head of Marketing" vs "Operations" route to different reps.
- Asking about ยท change it if the pre-fill is wrong. If you clicked "Book Strategy Call" but actually want a diagnostic, edit this field ยท the rep responds to what's in here, not what you originally clicked.
Stage 3 ยท Business Profile
Who you are, what you do, what your products / services are. Three short answers ยท no need to write paragraphs.
The point of this stage is to set the context for the rep before they call. One sentence per field is usually enough. The rep doesn't expect a pitch ยท they want the basics so they can ask sharper questions on the call.
Stage 4 ยท Growth Focus
Promotion focus (2-3 quarters), key challenges, solutions you've tried.
- Promotion focus ยท what you're trying to grow in the next 6-9 months. Lead with the outcome, not the activity. "Triple pipeline" beats "do more marketing".
- Key challenges ยท the 1-3 things in the way. Be honest ยท "we don't know our ICP" is more useful than "marketing isn't working".
- Solutions you've tried ยท what's already on the floor. Stops the rep suggesting something you've already discarded.
Stage 5 ยท Impact Assessment
Criticality dropdown, success vision, failure consequences.
- Criticality ยท how urgent is this ยท low / medium / high / business- critical. Drives queue priority.
- Success vision ยท what does "this worked" look like 90 days from now? Specific is better than aspirational.
- Failure consequences ยท what happens if you don't address this. This is the field most people skip ยท don't. It tells the rep how to pitch ยท cost-of-inaction or upside-of-action.
After you submit ยท what happens next
- Confirmation screen ยท "We've got it ยท we'll reach out within 1 business day."
- A copy of your submission lands in your inbox ยท keep it for reference. Reps appreciate being asked specifically about something on stage 4.
- Internally ยท the submission is auto-routed to the right rep based on stage / industry / criticality. Allocation typically completes within 2 hours during business hours.
- The rep emails or calls within 1 business day ยท the email always references something specific from your submission so you know it's been read.
Not heard back? Follow-up etiquette
- 1 business day ยท still inside SLA ยท don't chase yet.
- 2 business days ยท email /contact with subject "Following up on submission [date]". We'll triage within hours.
- 3+ days ยท the request might have been classified as a non-fit and we forgot to email you (very rare but it happens). The same /contact channel ยท we'll either pick it up or send an honest "this isn't a fit for us right now" note.
Alternative: just post a Quick Brief
The full modal is for "let's talk" ยท if you specifically want a fast quote from suppliers, skip the discovery call route and go straight to /quote-in-a-day (same-day supplier quotes for urgent requirements) or /quick-briefs (lightweight intake form).
The two minutes you spend on stages 3, 4 and 5 saves a rep ten minutes on the call. Worth it.
